The First Three Things I Downloaded to my eReader

For Christmas, I received a first generation Kindle Fire.  I want to be able to read comics by the issue, and digital is clearly the way to go if I don’t want to face storage problems.

Here are the first three things I downloaded to the new gadget:

  1. Ms Marvel, issue #1
  2. Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson
  3. Hild: A Novel by Nicola Griffith

I know, I’ve said I didn’t want an ereader.  I find that my current conflict is whether I want each purchase to be a real book or a digital book. The instant gratification between purchase and reading is pretty compelling.  This is going to be an ongoing problem, I can tell.

Oh, and I really am attempting the 52 photos project, so here’s this week’s photo. The prompt indicated that we simply had to take the picture during the day on 1/1/2014.

This is Lingo, my very old dog.  His contemporaries all passed away in November of 2013. We’re savoring our time with him while he’s still happy.
